Project Engineer Heavy Civil

Southeastern PA & NJ | Full Time


Role Summary:

We seek a Project Engineer with 5+ years in heavy civil (bridges, deep foundations, highways, water treatment, industrial) to handle form/pour drawings, layout, submittals, site inspections, cost control, and coordination with field teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, coordinate, submit, and track project submittals
  • Prepare construction designs: form/pour, pickup plans, utility layout
  • Interpret survey, maps, blueprints, and topographic data
  • Monitor site progress, verify compliance, manage costs
  • Generate job cost reports, track claims


Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering (or related)
  • 5+ years in heavy civil project engineering
  • Strong planning, problem solving, and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA, QA/QC, and construction best practices
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Valid drivers license & ability to travel locally (1-2 hours)
